Capstone – Project

Develop a Market Strategy to Expand Mentor Outreach to High School and College Students Globally

A Collaboration Between

Project Synopsis

The Mentor Project is a 501c3 not-for-profit mission to provide world-class experts to mentor k-university students worldwide in science, technology, engineering, arts, math, business, finance, and law for FREE. We have reached students across the United States, Argentina, Russia, Kenya, Tanzania, and India. To get as many students as possible, offering equal opportunities globally, we would like to provide conferences and hackathons that can be paid for by corporate sponsorships. We want to expand our success on a much larger scale. Our world-class mentors are available to support students beyond the events. For example, in 2020, after one hackathon, we were able to mentor a student to receive two patents, and we are mentoring one patent sale.

We would like to challenge Fordham Graduate students to address this opportunity with our organization.

As a Fordham GSAS graduate, I know this is possible!

A great success would be to raise funds through sponsored events such as Hackathons and Conferences that will allow us to expand. We will need additional resources for operational and administrative costs to make this happen on a larger scale. Another measurable result is increasing our reach. We are happy to remain in the six countries we are in now to reach more students in those countries. We are also happy to expand to other countries. Our goal is to serve as many students as we can, inspire, guide, and pass on knowledge at no cost.
